Well I own a Concept 2, so I just save my scores on my card....you could have one of your teammates or your actual coxswain cox you ...or at least watch so they can tell your coach what time you got.

Before I did my 2K i asked my coach. He told me the first 10-15 strokes you should try your hardest to get your split down. This should bring you down to about 1850 meters. After that you should settle in at a split that is not too comfortable but is maintainable. Keep that split until you get to about 300 meters left where you should sprint rest of the way. If you do this your 2k time should drop. Before doing a 2k I recommend eating a banana, it keeps cramps away. And just remember stay calm and breath it helps.</description>
